About the Role
Our client, a mid-sized investment consulting firm with corporate HQ in Chicago, is searching for a CFO/Director of Finance and Accounting to oversee their financial and accounting departments. This role will curate the firm’s financial strategies and guide critical business growth. This is an outstanding opportunity for an established financial leader looking to serve as a mentor and leave a long-term impact within an entrepreneurial environment. Note this is a hybrid position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- 10+ years of experience in a managerial role required; financial services experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software/systems required.
- Proven ability to analyze and communicate finances and KPI’s to internal and external stakeholders.
- A relationship-oriented work ethic coupled with outstanding conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on and closely connected to the day-to-day business.
