About the Role
Our client, a highly reputable law firm based in the Loop, is searching for an Intellectual Property Paralegal to support domestic and international operations. This role will provide integral IP support ranging from copyright filings to IP prosecution. This role is ideal for a legal professional with both trademark and patent experience who is looking for a home in a progressive firm that values inclusivity, work/life balance, and opportunities to grow professionally. The role is a hybrid position with one day in-office per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
- 5+ years of legal experience required.
- Experience with both trademark and patent matters required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and docketing software required.
- Understanding of domestic and international IP due diligence and filings preferred.
- Proven ability to manage dynamic priorities while maintaining a high level of detail.
- A relationship-oriented work ethic coupled with outstanding communication skills.
