About the Role
A growing food distribution company is seeking an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join its team during an exciting period of expansion. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term growth potential within warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and transportation coordination. This role offers a unique blend of warehouse operations, inventory coordination, logistics support, routing, and systems-based work. Depending on experience, individuals may focus more heavily on operational systems and inventory management or transportation routing and delivery coordination. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys problem-solving, learns new technology quickly, and takes pride in keeping operations running efficiently behind the scenes. Strong attention to detail, a team-first mentality, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed are critical for success.
Requirements
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, shipping & receiving, transportation coordination, dispatch, routing, or supply chain support
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Sage, or similar platforms is highly preferred
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning new systems and technology
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done
